President Aquino has issued Proclamation No. 234 dec-laring Aug. 30 as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid'l Fitr (Feast of Ramadan). Aquino also declared Aug. 29, which falls on a Monday, as a regular holiday in celebration of National Heroes' Day or Araw ng mga Bayani.
